About the AquaBlade-P ScraperThe Continuum Aquatics AquaBlade-P Scraper, 15", Acrylic Safe Plastic Blade, is a convenient 15" long scraper for small to medium-sized acrylic aquariums. The entire Scraper to the tip of the blade and the entire handle together are a total of 15 inches in length. The blades are replaceable.
Strength and BeautyBy utilizing virgin plastic in the molding process instead of re-grind or recycled plastics, the AquaBlade is much stronger and more agile than other scrapers. The first time you pick up an AquaBlade you’ll notice the difference it makes. It feels strong and durable — perfect for work inside your aquarium.
The AquaBlade cyan blade was created by testing countless different types of plastics and plastic blends. The results are a special self lubricating plastic that is softer than acrylic, so it will not scratch acrylic (
though a piece of sand or gravel stuck to the blade may scratch the acrylic).
Made in the USA!Compatibility Built-In100% Backwards compatible with previous units. The new blades fit the old AquaBlade Scrapers and the old blades fit the new AquaBlade Scrapers.
White plasticWhite plastic allows you to see the AquaBlade more easily through darker algae. This means you don’t miss any spots the first time around the aquarium.
