The Tunze Comline DOC Skimmer 9012 is quiet and generates a very large volume of small bubbles for efficient skimmer operation. It operates stand-alone in the aquarium or in a sump without needing any additional equipment (
feed pumps, etc). It can mount to the inside of the tank, inside the back compartment of an aquarium or sump wall via a convenient magnet holder strong enough for glass up to 1/2" thick.
For aquariums from 55 to 317 gallons (depending on bio-load). If the tank is well stocked and has hard coral it's best for tanks in the 55 gallon to 90 gallon range. For lightly stocked tanks, soft coral and saltwater fish only tanks that are much larger this skimmer sill suffice.
