The Aqua Illumination (AI) Prime 16HD Reef Smart Reef LED Light, Black is a customizable LED light for saltwater aquariums. It's a full spectrum light that includes a moonlight channel. The Prime 16HD is ideal for small to medium reef tanks. It has a spread of 24 inches by 24 inches and a peak PAR of 100 Mol at a depth of 24 inches.
The AI Prime 16HD is perfect for keeping SPS, LPS, and soft corals. A single light will keep corals photosynthesizing in a nano tank. Larger or deeper tanks will need multiple lights. The AI Prime 16HD has 80 degree lenses that provide a balance of power and spread. The lenses are custom designed and have a diffuse exit surface for improved color blending. It's expected to last over 5-7 years with a 10 hour per day photoperiod. The AI Prime 16HD shares the same cluster as the Hydra 32HD and Hydra 64HD. The Prime 16HD incorporates 16 LEDs (+1 Moonlight) and an all new TIR optic.
