If you have a freshwater-planted aquarium, you have probably heard of CO2. It is the magic ingredient that all of the best tanks use. But why do you need to add CO2 to your aquarium? And how do you add CO2? For answers to these common CO2 questions, please read the CO2 System Overview Article. We carry a wide variety of individual CO2 components (reactors, controllers, bottles, bubble counters, etc.) from Ista, and Milwaukee Instruments. You can put together a CO2 system through purchases of products individually, and figure out how they work together. Or, you can just get a complete Ista CO2 Aluminum Supply Set. |

A CO2 bubble counter determines how much gas is going through the airline. It is counted in terms of bubbles per minute (or other period of time). The bubble counter is located between the CO2 regulator and reactor in a CO2 System.
We have six sizes of CO2 bottles from ista. Unfortunately, because they contain CO2 we can ship these by air freight, which means we can not send them expedited or to Alaska or Hawaii.
CO2 reactors and diffusers are commonly used to diffuse CO2 into freshwater planted aquariums. In reef aquariums a CO2 reactor may be used to diffuse CO2 into a calcium reactor.
We carry CO2 regulators and controllers from ista and the Milwaukee Instruments MA957 CO2 Regulator w/ an integrated Solenoid Valve and Bubble Counter.
This is the section with the CO2 products that do not fit into the other categories. Included in this category are the check valves, tubing, and flow regulators.
