This Package includes the FijiCube Advanced Reef Sump 12, Simplicity 120DC Protein Skimmer, Seltz D DC 500 GPH Controllable Universal Pump, & SIX Blue Life 4" X 14" 200 Micron Filter Socks.
The Simplicity 120DC Protein Skimmer will fit comfortably into the FijiCube Sump. It uses a controllable DC pump with a needle wheel, regarded as one of the best methods to shred air and water to create micro fine bubbles. These skimmers provide one of the keys to successful protein skimming—a long contact time between water and air.
The Hydor Seltz D DC 500 GPH Controllable Universal Pump is a great choice for a return pump for the FijiCube Reef Sump 12. It is a high-performance, multipurpose, electronic, centrifugal pump with controllable flow thanks to electronic inverter technology. Ideal for sumps, refugiums, biological filters and in general, to circulate fresh and salt water.
Included are SIX Blue Life 4" 200 Micron Filter Socks. The 4" ring fits the Sump perfectly. The socks are 14 inches long.
The FijiCube Advanced Reef Sump 12 is made with high quality full cast acrylic with a full top support brace to further reinforce the mechanical structure for long term use.
The interchangeable filter socks or filter floss holder allow you to choose your preferred mechanical filtration. There is a large equipment room to maximize equipment potential (protein skimmer and reactor). The polycarbonate cover reduces and evaporation from sump operation.
These sumps come with test probe and heater holders offering users additional features for added convenience.
The water level in the sump is adjustable from 5” to 12”. This feature accommodates water height requirements for different protein skimmers and user needs.
