The Fluval Manual recommends the Impeller, Motor Head Gasket & Impeller Cover should be replaced every year. Use the Silicone Lube to lubricate the Motor Head Gasket, Impeller Cover and AquaStop O-ring Gaskets.

The Fluval Manual recommends you replace the Bio-Foam, Bio-Foam+, and Bio-Foam Max every six months. Quick Clear should be replaced monthly.

*NOTE: We often send the Bio-Foam Value Pack instead of the three individual Foams (same product, less packaging).
