The Marineland K2 Biological Media is designed with maximum surface area for beneficial bacteria that help break down waste to create healthier, cleaner water. Just place in media basket or canister media tray until 2/3 full to leave room for the bio-media to circulate.

Marineland K2 Biological Media is designed to fit Marineland Penguin and Emperor Pro Filter media baskets, as well as most external filters and most canister filters. It does not need to be replaced - if media gets clogged with debris, simply rinse with room-temperature tap water treated with a dechlorinator.

Can be used with the Marineland Reusable Media Bags.
