We carry calcium reactor media from CaribSea (ARM) and Two Little Fishies (Reborn). ARM contains not only calcium and carbonate, but also essential trace elements. Two Little Fishies Reborn is composed of the fossil skeletons of reef building corals sustainably harvested from pristine sites in the Western Pacific.

The Reef Octopus Calcium Reactors with VarioS multiple speed pumps meet the challenging task of maintaining alkalinity, calcium and trace elements on a demanding reef system. All models come with PH probe holder (probe and PH controller sold separately) to monitor Ph levels in the main reactor chamber.

In 1989, Tunze was the first manufacturer to develop a CO2-controlled calcium reactor. A circulation pump is used to pass the water enriched with carbon dioxide through the hardness granulate. The carbon dioxide reacts with water to form carbonic acid which dissolves the calcium carbonate, discharging softened water from the reactor.

Kalkwasser reactors such as the IceCap Kalk Large Mixing Reactors and the Two Little Fishies KW Reactor are the most efficient way to use kalkwasser. They can be used in conjunction with either a dosing pump or an auto top off.
