The Tunze DOC Skimmer 9430 DC combines a very compact design with high performance and is ideal for installation in aquarium cabinets. This compact protein skimmer is for aquariums up to 240 gallons if it's heavily stocked with SPS corals and fish. In the case of fish only aquariums it can handle 925 gallon tanks. It utilizes a Hydrofoamer Silence 9430.044 DC Pump to inject and mix the air and water and produce a very fine mix of bubbles. The patented anti overfoaming system prevents an overflowing skimmer cup due to changes in surface tension.
The Tunze Comline DOC Skimmer 9430 DC offers the same characteristic features as the Tunze Comline DOC Skimmer 9430, but is additionally equipped with the Hydrofoamer Silence 9430.044 DC Pump, a controller and a power supply. The performance of the skimmer can easily be adjusted using the power regulation on the controller.
