This package combines the NEW 15% brighter Kessil A360XE Tuna Blue LED Light, Kessil Mounting Arm, Kessil WiFi Dongle, Kessil A360X Extra Narrow Reflector, and MarineAndReef.com Reefractometer.
The Kessil A360X Extra Narrow Reflector strengthens the light beam of the A360X for further penetration and contrast. With an easy to attach magnetic design, the reflector focuses the light output and increases the center light intensity by up to 5x while adding a dynamic depth to your tank. This accessory is perfect for deep tanks or SPS corals with very high light demands. The maximum penetration is 48 inches. It will also help out when you need to have the light high above the tank.
With the Kessil WiFi Dongle you can control the Kessil A360XE Tuna Blue LED Light . The Dongle can be used to control the color and intensity of the light over time and uses a free phone app. The WiFi Dongle plugs into the K-Link port on the A360X lights. You will hardly notice the addition as the Dongle is only 2" X 1.25" X .5".
When used with the Kessil A360XE, the Kessil Mounting Arm can be up to 13 inches from the top of the water and 11 to 13.5 inches into the tank. When using the Plastic Steppers (spacers) the tank and tank lip can not be more than 1/2". Without the Plastic Steppers the tank and the tank lip can be up to 1". You will need at least 3 inches behind the tank for the mounting hardware. Cables can be housed inside the Mounting Arm.
Why do we include a Reefractometer? Because anyone buying a Kessil A360XE Tuna Blue LED Light has a reef aquarium, and if you have a reef aquarium you need to get the only Reefractometer on the market.
A360XE Improvements:
1. BRIGHTER. Better thermal management and more advanced LED chips generate 15% more light output than the A360X, all while maintaining the same power draw.
2. BETTER COLOR. The densest LED array in the world has become even denser, resulting in a more even beam profile and better color mixing.
3. SMARTER COMMUNICATION. K-link communication allows user to link multiple A360X, A360XE, A599X, and APX units together, while still maintaining individual control over each lamp.
Kessil A360XE Features:
- Works seamlessly with the Kessil WiFi Dongle (included) or Kessil Spectral Controller X (separate purchase) to control the intensity and color mix of the light throughout the day and night.
- K-LINK. The K-Link communication method is an upgrade of the plug & play 0-10V, allowing users to network multiple A360Xs together and
set individual groups to run their own programs. Can control up to 32
lights.
- LIGHT SHAPING. The A360XE can be used with a Kessil A360X Narrow Reflector (separate
purchase) to focus light to reach the bottom of deeper tanks.
- 90 Watts: 15% brighter than older versions. Effective light much greater than a 250 watt metal halide. Note: 90 watts is the maximum output. 30" X 30" coverage area.
- Variable Color Temperature: Using the two knobs on the top of the light you can tune the LEDs to your desired color temperature. 10000K? 12000K? 14000K? No problem.
