This package includes the products you will need to get started with your Seachem Tidal 35 Power Filter and ready for your first media change—plus Zeolite. Included in the package is the Seachem Tidal 35 Filter Replacement Matrix Carbon 90 ml, Seachem Tidal 35 Fine Replacement Polishing Pad (2 Pack), Seachem Tidal 35 Filter Replacement Zeolite 125 ml; Seachem Stability 250 ml and a MarineAndReef.com Cleaning Towel.
According to the Seachem Tidal 35 Manual:
1. Seachem Matrix Carbon is a preferred option in almost any aquarium setup.
2. In order to more quickly seed Matrix with bacteria, we recommend the addition of Seachem Stability to your aquarium.
Everything in this package is suitable for both saltwater and freshwater aquariums.
The Zeolite binds ammonia and heavy metals to detoxify the water. It won't deplete calcium in saltwater, and it won't increase general hardness in freshwater, where ionic strength is low.
The Tidal 35 Fine Polishing Pads, if used, need to be replaced periodically. The Fine Polishing Pads are not included with the Seachem Tidal. They should be used to together with the Foam Pad for extra fine filtration.
The Seachem Tidal 35 Power Filter is easy to use and adaptable to a
variety of aquarium conditions. It comes with several desirable
features—including a self-priming pump, surface skimmer, adjustable
flow, maintenance alert, self-cleaning impeller, and a filter basket
that can hold extra filter media.
